Terms of Use

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the education information service provided by Learning Bridge (learningbridge.club, the "Site"), and the rights and obligations of users and the operator.

Article 2 (Effect and amendment)

  1. These terms take effect on being posted on the Site.
  2. The operator may amend these terms where necessary, and will announce any amendment on this page seven days before it takes effect.
  3. A user who does not agree to the amended terms may stop using the Site and request withdrawal of their membership.

Article 3 (Scope of the service)

The Site provides the following.

  • Informational content on education rules, learning, admissions and civil service exams
  • User participation features such as comments on articles
  • Other additional services determined by the operator

Article 4 (Using the service)

  1. Content on the Site can be read without registration.
  2. Some features, such as comments, may be limited to members.
  3. The operator may temporarily suspend the service for system maintenance, faults, force majeure or similar reasons.

Article 5 (User obligations)

Users must not do any of the following.

  • Post another person's personal data without authorisation
  • Post defamatory, discriminatory or hateful content directed at an identifiable person
  • Spread false information or flood the Site for advertising purposes
  • Reproduce and post another person's copyrighted work without authorisation
  • Take any action that interferes with normal operation of the Site

Offending posts may be deleted without prior notice, and repeated violations may result in restricted access.

Article 6 (Copyright in posts)

  1. Copyright in content created by the Site belongs to the operator. Quotation with attribution is permitted, but reproducing or distributing a whole article without authorisation is prohibited.
  2. Copyright in posts created by users belongs to the author. The operator may nonetheless use such posts to the extent of displaying them and making them searchable within the Site.
  3. Posts that infringe another person's copyright will be deleted at the rights holder's request.

Article 7 (Nature of the information, and disclaimer)

  1. Information provided by the Site is general reference material, not counselling or advice on any individual's situation.
  2. Admission and recruitment rules change frequently, so before you actually apply you must check the official announcement of the responsible body — the Ministry of Education, KICE, individual university admissions offices, the Ministry of Personnel Management and so on.
  3. Information relating to development and health does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.
  4. The operator makes every effort to keep information accurate but accepts no responsibility for decisions users make on the basis of the Site, or for their consequences.
  5. Responsibility for the content of external links and advertisements shown on the Site rests with the relevant business.

Article 8 (Advertising)

The operator may display advertising on the Site in order to fund the service. Information about the use of cookies in connection with advertising is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Article 9 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

Disputes relating to these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea and, where not resolved by agreement, will be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
