When the CSAT is over, a flood of things to do arrives at once. When do scores come out, when are early-admission results announced, when do regular-admission applications open? It is easy to miss a date while hunting for them one by one. Based on the 2027 university admissions implementation plan published by the Korean Council for University Education and press coverage of it, this post lays out every date from CSAT day to the regular-admission results, in one line. Each university's schedule and registration method differ slightly, so the university's own application guide is the final authority.

Thursday, November 19: the CSAT

The 2027 CSAT is on Thursday, November 19, 2026. Without an ID on the day your identity cannot be verified; preparation of ID and admission ticket is covered separately in our CSAT ID guide. After the exam most students estimate their score from their own answers, and remember that this is not an official score.

Objections to the answers and the confirmed answers

Soon after the CSAT there is a period for objections to questions and answers, and after review the answers are confirmed. The exact filing period and confirmation date are set by the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation, so check its notice again a few days before the exam. This post does not state those dates.

Friday, December 11: score reports

The CSAT score notification date was reported as Friday, December 11, 2026. This is the day you receive the score report with standard scores, percentiles and grades. If you lose it, see our score-report reissue guide. Once scores arrive, the same score is converted differently at each university, so first check the differences in converted scores.

By December 18: early-admission results

The early-admission screening period runs from September 12 to Thursday, December 17, and results are announced by Friday, December 18. Because each university's minimum CSAT requirement is settled after scores come out, a student who misses the minimum is rejected at this point. Check each university's website to see when it announces.

December 21 to 23: early-admission registration

The registration period for early-admission winners is set at three days, December 21 to 23. An important rule applies here: if you are accepted in early admission, you cannot apply for regular admission even if you do not register. This is explained in our guide to the regular-admission restriction. If you do not intend to register, you must follow the university's instructions for withdrawing.

December 30 at 10 p.m.: the deadline for filling vacancies

The deadline for filling early-admission vacancies left by unregistered winners was reported as Wednesday, December 30 at 10 p.m. This is the period in which seats are filled from the waiting list, so additional acceptance calls can continue until this deadline. Check your contact number and make sure phone calls will reach you.

January 4 to 7: regular-admission applications

Regular-admission applications were reported to run for at least three days within January 4 to 7, 2027. The a, na and da groups are held in turn, and you can apply once per group, up to three times. Start and end times differ by university, and if you wait until the afternoon of the last day, you may face connection delays.

What students should actually do on each date. Rather than memorizing dates, decide what you will do on each one. Right after the exam, write down your estimated score and compare how the universities you might apply to convert it. On the score-report day, check standard scores and percentiles and calculate whether you met the minimum requirement for early admission. On results day, decide with your family whether you will register or try regular admission. That decision must be made before the registration deadline of December 23, so setting your criteria in advance keeps you steady.

How to use the days between early and regular admission. There is about a week between the end of vacancy filling in late December and the January 4 start of applications. In that time a waiting-list call can arrive, so keep your phone reachable, and sort your regular-admission candidates by a, na and da group. You need not rush on the first day, but connections can slow on the last afternoon, so leave some margin.

By February 5: regular-admission results, and the dates in one line

Regular-admission results are announced by Friday, February 5, 2027. In order: November 19 CSAT, December 11 score reports, December 18 early-admission results, December 21 to 23 registration, December 30 vacancy deadline, January 4 to 7 regular applications, February 5 results. These dates were compiled on October 13, 2026 from the KCUE 2027 implementation plan and September 2026 coverage and may change, so confirm them with the Korean Council for University Education and each university's application guide.
